shall i go to snowdonia wales or newquay Cornwall for a short break in January?

Q) just want to chill and relax

A) Newquay is my hometown! January it's very quiet!!! not much to do but walk across windswept beaches and windy headlands... youve got a choice of nightclubs and Bars, a few new restaurants have opened up - along with Rick Stein's if you fancy driving the 15/20mins to Padstow if you want a good hotel i'd advise the Victoria - which is a converted war time hospital in the centre of town if not theres loaads of b & b s catering for everyone... to get there if you dont fancy driving they've just improved the airport with cheap flights (although they charge you £5 development fee when you leave) p.s bring a warm coat and some old shoes along with a good moisturiser and eyedrops!!! - salty water ruins the skin!

i would like a short break in the u.k where should i stay?

Q) I live near london and would like to take a short break in the u.k, somewhere with amazing scenery and which is historic. maybee lake district or scotland, wales i havent got a clue. can anybody recomend something or somewhere?

A) grasmere or ambleside in the lake district - breathtaking at this time of year ~x~
