Samsung Q45 laptop?

Q) Hi I have a Samsung Q45 laptop and I want to make the screen brighter while it is running on the battery, on a old laptop on the start up I pressed the F2 button and I could change the screen brightness in that, but with the new Q45 I dosent seem to have that option when I do this, Can any one tell me how I can make the screen brighter when it is running only on the battery? Thanks

A) Try the Fn + Pg up and Fn + pg down keys for changing the brightness settings. It should work.

any one own a samsung r20 laptop i need help?

Q) i own the samsung r 20 laptop but need to know what to do to make the battery last onger, i can make it last just over an hr so if i want to watch a dvd on it i have to plug it into the mains socket. my old laptop was an advent and lasted 3 hrs when the battery worked. any ideas please help

A) go into the power options menu and change some of the settings,by having wireless running all the time it drains your battery quickly also by using other power options you will get longer use out of it.

samsung laptop battery doesn't work?

Q) i have a samsung x10 notebook, 2 yrs old. about 6 months ago, the battery stopped working properly. it charges up, but when i disconnect the a/c power while the computer is on and the battery is fully charged, the computer goes dead as if the power was disconnected without the battery connected. however, if i charge the battery, disconnect the power, and then turn the laptop on, the battery works fine. any ideas as to what's wrong?

A) Sounds like its having some issues switching from ac power to your battery. It probalby switches a little too slow, causing your laptop to power off like a desktop would have had you just pulled the plug. The battery comes in a little too late to keep the computer powered up. It'll probably cost more than the computer is worth to fix, so i'd reccommend just shutting down before you unplug. Its not a big enough problem to deal with it.

Where can i find battery for samsung r40 laptop?

How long can I run my laptop off my car battery?

Q) Hi. I have a samsung a10 laptop and recently bought a car charger for it. I just was to know how long I can safely run the laptop off my car battery without wearing out the car battery? The laptop battery is a lithium model and the car battery is a cheap semi-heavy duty type. Also if I just left the laptop battery to charge over night would this stop the car starting next morning. The laptop requires 18w=20w.

A) Absolutely do NOT leave it charging overnight without the car on. This WILL drain the battery. Even if it does, it's just not good practice to have the battery slowly drained on your car. Your car battery goes through a lot more wear and tear than charging a laptop will do to it. It will be fine if you just plug it in while you're driving to work, school, or the strip club.

Does the Samsung Blackjack phone battery charge while it is being synched to a laptop?

A) Yes it does, the battery will charge, but for some reason you loose internet on the phone... but it does charge...

My laptop will not charge?

Q) I have a Samsung V25 Laptop. It's about 2 or 3 years old. When I plug in the AC adapter it wont charge the battery or power the laptop. Now that the battery is flat I don't have the use of my laptop! It used to do that every once or twice and would be cured by leaving it unplugged for 5 minutes or so but now it's totally screwed. I've been told my AC adapter is fine. What could be causing my laptop not to accept the charge? At present my laptop is lying in someones house in bits. :( you say the battery but I used to be able to run my laptop off AC only, with the battery removed. Now the laptop wont run off AC no matter if the battery is fitted, removed.

A) First I would take the current battery out and plug in the a/c cord, the battery will no longer be a block and it should either fire up right away or it will do nothing and you will know whether you should look at getting a new battery. That was what cured mine. If the battery cant/wont hold a charge, you computer will not get power. Motorola KRZR or Samsung SCH-u520?

Q) Which phone is better? Good/bad experiences with both? Sound quality, battery life, etc.?I want to be able to take the removable memory out of my phone, plug it into my laptop, put songs on it, and use the songs for ringtones and such. I love the look of the KRZR and has more of a computer-look to the screen, but the Samsung is much cheaper and smaller. My carrier is U.S. Cellular, the KRZR is CDMA2000 1X technology and the Samsung is DualBand CDMA. I've heard many different things from a few people and I can't make up my mind!

A) i have had a krzr from att and till today it works great nice speaker for music , i use it with my pc via usb and of course i bought the phone tools software separet from amaznan cost me $20.00. anyway i load music,videos in mp4 format plus pictures the only thing i don't like is that when i load about 512mb of music the mp3 player doesn't respond I think that's because of the att mp3 player that is install on the phone other then that is perfect. By the way i bought a 2 gig micro sd card for $20.00 also on amazon. There's no problem with the video u can stream and playback video, I load more music videos then music for the reason I just mention . nice phone do!!!!!!.... if u don't want to buy the saftware you can put just the memory card into the computer and drag and drop.

Laptop doesn't switch on.?

Q) I have samsung v25 and it's 2 yrs. old. When I put the mains on, the green light shows that it's on and the battery is on too. But when I push the button to switch it on, it wouldn't turn on. If I leave it for a week then it turns on and works fine. But then again next day when I want to turn it on, it wouldn't turn on. Can someone help please.

A) Better take in to the service center to be completely checked. If u have another battery then try with that.

can dead motherboards be fixed?

Q) Hi mobo fried, recently working. Now no longer powers at all. Power jack (is laptop mobo) was burned. Getting no power from battery or ac, so think something else must have friend (possibly the separate mobo that this samsung p20 has). Is there any way to repair/find where the fault is on such a motherboard? Answers such as 'take it to an electrician' etc. not welcome - am talking about a solution at home, am an experienced computer techy (well, apart from this question) Thanks M

A) Its not worth it! The motherboard is the most complicated part of the computer! You really shouldn't mess with the CPU! Notebooks aren't all that expensive these days, you are better off just buying a new one. I doubt this probelm is easily fixable! sorry! ~Good Luck~
