Q) Where do I reach most people to rent my new apartment in Majorca. Most sites seem quite expensive and there are so many of them, think I need to select a 2 or 3 but how do you know which are most viewed. The apartment is based on the Royal Bendinat golf course and this is the type of holiday maker I want to advertise to. But I know nothing of golf.

A) You could checkout discoveriberia, the site lots of info about baleares and spain The site has lots of visitors and there prices are reasonable

I rent a holiday home from a a rich person ,and we have no contract because they were lost?

Q) There was a fire and part of the house was damaged It is an old house and it had broken windows and all the eletrics did not work However I still wanted to rent it despite its condition it ,The landlord has asked me to renew as it was before ,what is my responsibilty to the place and landlord ,there was no insurance on the property ,the damage is at least $10,ooo if I do the repairs .What would you do There isa chance he may knock down the building and sell the land . There were contracts but for some reason I had hold of them and they got burnt in the fire

A) I'm a bit confused - did you sign and contract and then it got lost?? If no contract was signed and there was no insurance then I wouldn't worry...it's the landlord's fault to insure the property or make his tenants insure the property and the only he can ensure that is by a contract I wouldn't do the repairs if you are not contractually obliged to do it. If there is a contract then you better find a copy and see what your obligations are.

Holiday homes in the south west?

Q) For the last couple of years, we've been looking to rent a place in Devon or Dorset for a holiday in August. All the 2 bedroom houses we've found seem to be around the £1000 per week mark - well out of our range. So, we tend to go to France as it's much cheaper, even with the ferry et al. Anyone know of any good holiday rentals near a beach in either of these areas? Cheers

How can i get my holiday home website to come top of search listings?

Q) We currently have a holiday home available for rent in france and have a website for it, how can i make the site come up top on search engines, there are so many companies out there that offer to do this but i have no idea which company i can trust. please help

A) The best place to start would be at the search engine itself. The larger ones (google, yahoo, msn, etc) generally offer paid advertising. This will put your page up near the top (depending on how much you are willing to pay). They normally work off a pay-per-click system which means that your site can be shown first to 500 people, but if only one of them click your site, you only get charged once. Hope this helps :)

If I bough an apartment in Bulgaria as a holiday home, could I eventually get Bulgarian citizenship?

Q) I am a British citizen but am looking to buy a 1 bed apartment on the Black Sea coast, as properties in Britain are so expensive. I would use it as a holiday home at first, but I do not want to rent it out as I don't want it to get ruined. Can I qualify for Bulgarian citizenship because I've bought a property there?

A) On the basis of property you cannot get a citizenship. I am Bulgarian and I didn't get the British citizenship because I bought a house in UK. It's based on the time period you spend in the country. You have to live in Bulgaria for minimum of 5 years- same as in UK

A) homestay might or might not be cheaper than a guest house or hotel - but they are a different concept in travelling. you can even rent the whole homestay house for the whole family or a large group for some $30 or 1k baht/night - for sure it will be much cheaper than renting several rooms in a guest house or hotel. Can I rent a family for the holidays?

Q) I don't have any family and the holidays are coming around. My Father died a few years ago and my Mother is an alcoholic with severe mental issues and even though I have gone to her home for the holidays in the past, it always ended with her getting really drunk and being mean and there is always a fight. I always seemed to have a boyfriend so going to their family's home for the holidays seemed like a nice option but this is the first year I am single. Thanksgiving is a month a way and I have no idea where I am going to go. Soon after is Christmas, etc.... I am getting the feeling that I am going to spend the holidays very alone and it makes me sad. I will have no one to eat with or exchange presents with. I know it sounds stupid but I was thinking because I had such a dysfunctional family growing up, maybe I could experience the holidays with a nice, normal family. Does anyone know of a family rental service?

A) I know some people who would love to spend the holidays with you. They are the elderly in the Assisted Living Centers. Many of them are lonely too, and some of them don't have any living family members to spend their holidays with either. Depending on what your budget is, they appreciate gifts like warm socks, fruit, lotions, hand-made crafts and so forth. Spending your holidays with other people who are lonely will bless your heart and theirs! God bless you!!!

Should I sill love my wife after all she as done ?

Q) Married 23 years, two lovley daughters, good std of living, holiday home abroad, very few finanicial worries, but she found another man and left me & the kids, without warning, jI ust got back from work one day and she was gone. I thought we had a fairly good marriage except for last few weeks when she went cold on me. Did not see what was coming. She now makes very little contact. She has made very little contact with her kids, texts every now and then. No contact with her mum, dad brother & Sisters. Refuses to pay anything towards mortgage or anything, but still insists she will get 50% of everything when we divorse. She don't want divorse yet, cant afford it she says. But managing to pay for rent on new home with this man, buy new car and new laptop. Problem is, I cant think of anything else but her, the things we have done together etc . She is constantly on my mind. Its driving me mad. I still love her so much, but she don't seem interested. Sorry. Must point out Kids are 22 and 19 but still live at home, so no question of custody problems, Cant afford to move on at moment. Once all bills are paid, only enough money left to buy food. Kids do help with money but they have there own lives to live and are on very low income. She left me truly in financial Sh**t. But still love her and miss her loads.

A) A part of your heart will always love her no matter what choices she has made. You two had a life together and created a ton of memories. Hold them dear to you but let her go. She has hurt you and your children but that is not your responsibility. Your responsibility is to your children and yourself. My best advice would be to get a calender and write down every factual thing you can about the time-line of her leaving. When she calls, when she has any contact of any kind. When she created her own living environment with another man. She will be held accountable for her actions and showing the factual information that you will have will help you to keep what you have earned and what she does or does not deserve. Get some hobbies, find some new outlet for you. Something that you have never done before so that there are no ties with her or anything that the two of you have done. You will not only start creating new and wonderful memories but you will meet new and interesting people. Q) I live int he 200 block of south maple in Oak Park and I would like to rent a parking space near by. There are too many parking spaces and I dont want to have to move my car all the time if I decide to stay home from work one day. I would also like to get a job down town but dont see how thats possible since there is only 2 hour parking on my block during the day. Why is my mother like this?Does she stop me from getting on with my life on purpose?

Q) This will be hard to fit into few characters,maybe reading a previous question may help.Recently my relationship with my mother has disintegrated while her relationship with her moron partner flourishes even though he does such contemptible things to her e.g. sleeps with her sister,registers with dating sites to meet other people,accuses her of cheating,steals her money,has hit her & constantly intimidates her,sleeps with his ex wife & takes her on holiday to USA (!),doesn't help with her bills & lives at her home rent free,he doesn't have a job & doesn't help with chores.I always considered my mum as my best friend,all I ever did was try to help her through a previous 10 year abusive relationship & I'm her own child yet I'm discarded as easily as a used tissue.She says she doesn't want to talk then sends sentimental texts & gifts.Am I crazy in thinking this is weird?I don't see what I've done to deserve it.I don't want pity,I want to understand why she messes with my head & feelings? I have also just found out from my sister who still lives at home with her that she plans to marry this man in November on her birthday like nothing has ever happened. I'm 19 so its not like I'm some spoilt little brat trying to break my mum & her partner up,I'd happily stay out of the way if she didn't keep getting me involved by texting & moaning about things to me.I live with my dad now but her obtuse actions cause us both distress (my dad has other children with my mum who still live with her). My dad has always been around for my mum but she even treats him like dirt. Why?
