Anybody know a FREE good e-card site?

Q) Not one that gives me a 'free' trial yet I still have to put my credit card details in so that when I forget to cancel or they tell me the terms of cancellation are 2 months so I end up paying blah blah, I mean a good genuinely FREE site where I don't have to give any payment details to send a birthday card. yahoo greetings used to do this but seem to have vanished now? My friend's birthday who lives 250 miles away is tomorrow, I get paid on Friday, I have literally 3p in my purse and some stale bread and cheese in the fridge. Oh and some jelly. orange I think and possibly low fat. What am I meant to do, try and exchange the jelly for a stamp - maybe I should try ebay? I want to make a gesture so he knows I haven't forgotten but don't want to send a belated card after payday, as it then looks like I forgot, which I haven't. This is not about laziness beleive me.... I am now off in a strop to have some delicious jelly.

A) My mother does not appreciate email cards because she doesn't have a computer but I am a mom and love getting any kind of cards even email free cards from my kids. I also send email cards to my kids but I'm not sure they appreciate them as much as I do.

I am a member of Birthdayalarm.com - if you are awful for forgetting birthdays (like me) it is great, you enter all your friends/family birthdays and set the "alarm" for when you want to be warned (I myself get 2 e mails, one warning me a week before and then a second reminder 3 days before, you can choose your own settings) I've found I'm no longer forgetting heaps of birthdays no more! it also has e cards you can send aswell if you like.
