football shirt sizes HELP!?

Q) i feel rather silly, but i am abotu to pre-order arsenal away kit for my bf. but football size tops confuse me. he is almsot 20 normally wears a shirt size small and jumper size medium. do i get though a small, medium or arge size football top, generally speaking, dont want to ask as will let on what i am doing. ALSO is it best to get new away kit rather than hoem kit which will only be around one more season. thanku!! with all do respect i am askin a simple question here, i just need an honest answer. i dont care who he supports, i jus dont want to end up with the wrong size shirt, im presuming a medium, if u know, generally speaking and can help thanku.

A) i'd go for a slightly larger shirt than his normal size. He's likely to wear it to the pub and if its a bit bigger it will be cooler for him. Also if he wears it to a match he might want to wear the shirt outside a jumper or jacket so i bigger shirt would be better.

A) They should have come with instructions. Try putting them where you want them, covering them with a damp tea towel and pressing hot iron on them. Press, do not rub. If that doesnt work you are gonna have to sew them

A) As a small shop you would find it very difficult to compete with the likes of JJB who have massive buying power. They will be making at least 50% of the selling price as profit. Also, Nike (and other major brands) will not be interested in you and you would have to buy through a wholesaler, who also has to make a profit. Such are the rules of globalisation.

how do you frame a football shirt?

Q) i need to know how you frame a football shirt, is there a specific kind of frame i need, also how much does it cost?

A) i mounted mine in a frame from ilea, it was the biggest i could find for the price ( about £25 if i remember correctly). These frames came with a white paper background which i layered on top of the shirt which had been layered face down on thee glass. Then just use a couple of pins to hold the shirt in place around th shoulders because they can drop slightly when they have been Hung awhile.

A) It depends on the type of material. It sounds like the red of the shirt has "bled" onto the white logo. You might be able to use an old toothbrush and some bleach to remove the pink. But, if you get the bleach onto the red shirt, you've got other issues. Maybe you could take it to a cleaners? My hubby has a New Jersey Devils jersey that's red with a white logo. I ALWAYS wash it in cold water with Woolite as the detergent, on the gentle cycle. Hope that helps.
