Disneyland Paris or Disney World Florida whats best??

Q) I have been to Disney Land paris twice and walt disney world once. I thought paris was meant to be not as good as florida but was dissapointed when the quality of rides at florida aren't as good as paris and considering that florida has got 4 parks not that many rides more than paris and it so much harder to get around florida it knackers you out! Just wanted to see what other people think who have been to both, as people i know who have just been to florida always seem to say paris is rubbish (even though they have never been!)

A) Hi, I've been to both (I actually live in Paris suburb...) and indeed the rides at Disneyland Paris are much better than the ones in Florida. Which is normal as they're newer. Big Thunder Train is faster in Paris, Space Mountain in Florida can't even begin to compare with the one in Paris, even Small World is much more beautiful in Paris, etc... BUT, you can't compare the whole Disney area in Florida and 'only' the two parks in Paris (Disneyland & Disney Studios)... even if Disneyland Paris is bigger than Magic Kingdom. In Florida, you have several theme parks, water parks, dozen of hotels, etc... so indeed, the immersion is total. And, mechanically, there are more rides in Florida (I miss Soarin'...). Moreover when you add Seaworld and Universal... So, my opinion is that the 'magic' is much more efficient in Florida. But the rides are much better in Paris... when they exist there.

which train do you get from charles de gaulle airport (paris) to disney world paris?

A) The RER system is very confusing and is a great introduction to the pitfalls of travelling in Paris. The first thing to know is that trains on the same track have defferent destinations, so you have to check the sign above the tracks to know which train to get on. The RER station is walking distance from most terminals, but it is a long walk. Carrying alot of luggage on your paris trip and expecting to use the public transport as opposed to the much more expensive taxis is hard enough without carrying six large suitcases. My family travelled to Paris with each person carrying two carryons which attached to each other and were easily carried as either a backpack or on wheels. Travel light is the best advice you will get before your trip. If you lose your luggage because you missed your connection out of Heathrow then don't say I didn't warn you. Anyway when you arrive at Charles De gaulle airport take an outside shuttle to the RER station or walk along the terminal until you reach the RER station. There you will see a bunch of tv terminals to buy your tickets. Forget asking any Parisians for help in using these ticket machines, as they are all in a hurry and they will say watch me and then grab their ticket and leave. No the machines do not have an english translation. Furthermore, they do not offer child discount tickets (half price). Past the machines is a ticket counter which is behind sliding glass doors. Even if the line is long, go there instead of the machines if you don't read french or you need discount tickets. When you get to the counter, the first thing to say is Bonjour! or Bonsoir! (good evening). The next thing to ask is if the person speaks English. Now you have to learn to ask this in French, otherwise he will pretend like you are not there. "Parlez vous Anglais?" He will say no but it doesn't matter, he speaks perfect English. He will help you as soon as he realizes you are politely attempting to speak French. Try saying Disneyland Paris with a French accent and hold up with your fingers how many tickes you would like. Then he will speak perfect English and offer you instructions on how to get there and what else you will need to reach your destination. Anyway, The previous answer was correct in that you take the B train to Chatelet and then transfer to the A train. Disney is the last stop on the A4 train going East. The RER uses large doubledecker trains which are comfortable, but can get crowded, especially if you have alot of luggage. Be aware that the train windows are small and so are the station signs. Chatelet is the busiest station in Paris as multiple RER and Metro stations all connect there. It is always crowded so mind your luggage and your kids and beware of pickpockets.

Disney world Paris "mouse orgie"?

A) Heard about it, haven't seen the video!! Apparently some of the cast members pretended to be having sex while still in their mouse costumes & they invited chip & dale & I think maybe donald & goofy, too. Their actions were videotaped & it's been making the rounds on the net. Wow - who knew?? lol I never really liked being around those people in their costumes anyway; always struck me as a little freaky - they can't speak, their too big, etc. Now I know they're pervs - I'll really stay away from them!!! Disney supposedly took care of the problem - I reckon they all got fired. Can you imagine listing why you were dismissed on your resume?? "mouse orgie got filmed" doesn't go over well with new employers, I bet!!!! lmao

what is the best ride for adults in disney world paris?

Q) my husband cant go on rollarcoasters so any other fun rides?

A) most of the interactive rides should be okay and there are all sorts of really cool things to do at disneyland paris that aren't rollercoasters trust me been there with my hell no I won't go mother who doesn't ride coasters either and she had a blast and never got on one just did interactive events. one of my favorite things though was paramagique it's not really a ride and it takes place only at night in disney village but it'z the shizz the views are outta this world, it also depends on where you go right now halloween is going on and they have all sorts of haunted houses and other cool stuff to do Le Pays des Contes de Fées is extremely fun as well he should love it Hope you have a good time

Calling all Disney Enthusiasts! Best hotel and tips for a trip to Disneyland Paris?

Q) I am planning a trip to Disneyland Paris with my husband and two children (1 and 6). Any tips? Best hotel? Best place to eat? Park info and tips? I am submitting this to the Orlando site in the hopes that some of you have been there. We have been to Disney World many, many times. I want to try something different. Thank you so much!

A) Hi, I've been to Disneyworld Orlando once and I've got an annual pass to Disneyland Paris (and kids of 2 and 7). You'll find mostly the same attractions, but here are the main differences between the two... if I remember well... Space Mountain in Paris has nothing in common with the one in Orlando : it's more like Aerosmith (with greater visuals). Big Thunder Mountain is much faster than in Orlando, but it's still ok for the kids. Indiana Jones is ok (not for the kids) but is very short. Under the castle, there's a dragon. The kids will like it... but may be afraid when it moves. In a more general way, Disneyland Paris is smaller than Disneyworld, but the rides are technically better (being newer). The Fastpass system seems to work differently also : in Paris, once you have a Fastpass for an attraction, you can get others for others attractions at once. It seems in Orlando, you have to wait 2 hours... So, I suggest getting Fastpasses right when you arrive. The Disney Studio Park is relatively small, so usually it is less crowded in the afternoon when everybody has visited it. The shows are great and there's an attraction that is not in Orlando : Armageddon (but I don't think it's a really good one) I've no tips for the hotels, but for eating we like the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue : it's quite huge and not in the main area of the park. You also have live country music. You may also like the Blue Lagoon where you eat 'in' the Pirates attraction. The kids will like the Pizza Planet where there is also a playground, but it's very noisy. Have a nice stay ! And I'll prepare the same kind of question, as we're going in Orlando next month... ;-)

Which Disney Theme Park does not have a Tomorrowland?

Q) Which Disney Theme Park does not have a Tomorrowland? Is it Disneyland, California; Walt Disney World; Disneyland, Paris; Hong Kong Disneyland; or Tokyo Disneyland?

A) Disneyland Paris is the only Disney Park that does not have a Tomorrowland. At Disneyland Paris the land that would be Tomorrowland is called Discoveryland.

Which Disney Theme Park does not have a Tomorrowland?

Q) Disneyland, California; Walt Disney World; Disneyland, Paris; Hong Kong Disneyland; or Tokyo Disneyland?

A) Yeah, why is everyone asking this question? This is the third time I've answered it. Is there some Disney Trivia Content I should know about? Because I am the Disney Expert. ; ) Disneyland Paris is the only Disney Park that does not have a Tomorrowland. At Disneyland Paris the land that would be Tomorrowland is called Discoveryland. Tokyo Disneyland DOES have a Tomorrowland - just to correct the two above.

Where is the best Disney theme park (resort)?

Q) Is it: - Disneyland Resort? - Walt Disney World Resort? - Tokyo Disney Resort? - Disney Paris Resort? - or Hong Kong Disney Resort?

A) I have been to Disneyland, to Disney Paris, to Tokyo Disney and to Walt Disney World Resort and I have to say the best one for me is Walt Disney World Resort, it has more hotels to choose from, more rates and many more parks to go to, I definitely love that one over the rest. Hope this helps!

Do You Think Vanessa Ann Hudgens should have stayed positive for disney viewers from all over the world?

Q) What do you think??? * I say she should have never took those pictures.. I am very ashamed of her she should've stayed posotive for all disney kids!!! I wouldn't even want her to be my kid if I was older and I was her mom. Did she ever think before she did such a stupid thing? Like will her sister be like her like what she did? Would all of her freinds be ashamed? WOULD THE PARENTS AROUND THE WORLD ACCEPT THAT PARIS/LINDSAY BEHAVIOR FOR THEIR CHILDREN???

A) Total moron. No talent. All girls are entitled to a POSITIVE celebrity role model. After you become a celebrity, there is no such thing as a "private life," so she should have been extra extra careful.

A) 1. Astro Orbiter Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin Space Mountain Tomorrowland Indy Speedway Tomorrowland Transit Authority (Some may consider the Carousel of Progress to be a ride because it's a revolving theater.) 2. Neither - The Walt Disney World Monorail system began operating in 1971, making it 35 years old (as of 2006.) (Or maybe I just didn't understand the question?) 3. Spaceship Earth. (One of my favorite rides!) 4. Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show. (Love it!) 5. DINOSAUR, Primeval Whirl, TriceraTop Spin. Thank you!

How is Euro Disney different that Disneyland or Disney World?

Q) I am traveling to Paris in July with my sister and my parents, and I would like to know if it is worth our time. Have you been there? If you have, please post. Thanks :)

A) I haven't been, but I've heard mixed reviews. It's similar to DisneyLand with many of the same attractions, but nothing like Walt Disney World in Florida (nothing can compare to the number one vacation destination in the world.) I've heard that this park is not as clean as DisneyLand or Walt Disney World, and though it's similar to DisneyLand in California, it's not as good. I'm a Disney Fanatic, though, and if I was going to Paris and had the opportunity to go to DisneyLand Paris, I certainly would. I'm sure you'll have a great time even if it isn't as great as the other parks.

Which is better? Disneyland or Disney World?

Q) This is specifically aimed at people who have been to both of these parks in the US. What would you recommend? *This is a trip for 2 adults only (who are big kids really) *We are from Australia and this would be our first time to the United States - We intend to see much more of the country as well, so please don't say "Id go to a forest instead" or anything like that. * Please also don't say "Go to Tokyo or Paris" instead. * I have wanted to go there ever since I was about 4 and am so excited about visiting the US. What would you recommend to someone visiting your country for the first time out of these two options? Also, what is the best time of year to go?

A) Disney World in Florida has more to offer in a closer proximity. There is more to do In Florida. Disneyland is nice, but small and outdated.
