If you are going for bigger arms though, focus on your triceps. They grow much faster and much bigger than biceps. Just make sure to keep your biceps proportional. Good luck!!

A) i'll suggest you start with deca durabolin, to give you some base, then start a course of testosterone cypionate (depotrone) soon after, or sustanon, if you can afford. try http://www.steroidology.com & http://www.pharmabolic.com/products.php don't listen to these do-gooders. steroids can do immense harm if abused, just like aspirin or even water. but used properly you can get real guaranteed benefits. just don't overdo it. unfortunately for you the injectables are the best to use. but you should remember that steroid alone don't build an Arnold or a Yates. you need real hard work and lots of food. fortunately, steroids will make you capable of both of these... ps: all the movie actors with the great bods have used steroids

About body-building......??

Q) What do you think about women who do body-building - I mean the ones who tone their muscles like a man? Do you think it's attractive or are you repelled by it??? Personally I think it's totally unfeminine and hideous!!

A) Being in great physical condition is attractive, but if you take it to the extreme it seems unfeminine to me. What these women decide to do is up to them. Women can be VERY strong without trying to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but the ones you are referring to may actually be doing damage to themselves by reducing their body fat to abnormally low levels, and possibly causing amenorrhea - a complete cessation of the menses, which is NOT good in pre-menopausal women. Women naturally have approximately 18% body fat, but if you look at some of these women it is obvious that their percentage is much lower, even to the point of losing breast tissue, which is primarily adipose tissue, i.e., normal body fat. Its nice to see a woman in great physical condition, but this is probably going a little bit too far. Still, what they do is up to them - not me - its their bodies, not mine.

Can some who really knows about weight loss and body building help me please?

Q) well i am 16, weigh 85 kg, and i am 5"9. Basically i have a lot of fat round my belly and chest and i want to get rid of that..and have a flat stomach and chest. But also i want a big, wide body, and start to weight lift....to build up muscle and maybe a 6 pack. Body Building injury?

Q) I recently started to going to the gym to work out on a budy building program. On Sunday I did 3 sets on the preacher curls with 30kg on an EZ curl bar, then I did 3 sets X10 of dips for my Triceps. I am in so much pain in my elbows/ forarms and have limmited movement and I cant bend them. Is it muscle or ligament damage? Do I rest them for a while or carry on but just use light weights for a while. Thanks...

A) i am a female and a lift more than you with out injury. give up building muscle and take up ballet or something.

A) You are a girl, and you weigh 225 pounds? AND you're working on bigger muscles? I wouldnt' worry about fighting- at least any guys.

A) Since you have diabetes you should take extra precaution, the best thing for you to do, would be to take a questionnaire called the Nutri-Physical and get a report of what would personally be the best supplement for you, or you could get a custom supplement made for you. which body building supplement is best for building muscle on small built people?

Q) whey protein?, creatine? or can you name a specific brand?

A) I am small framed and only 5'2" but have put on 1 stone in lean muscle in the past year. My secret is whey protien, and a progressive weight training program. Whey protien is the best protien for building muscle, but is low in fat so what you put on will be lean. When you take it is also important, one through the day, one 2 hours before training, then another 1 hour after training. Holland and barrat do a whey protien that is very cheap but very high in protien and essential muscle building amino acids etc. It says take one scoop with 125ml of milk but up this to 2 scoops with 250ml milk. The secret is you must consume at least a minimum of 1 gram of protien per pound of body weight, to put on serious muscle. For example is your are: 150 Ib person you must consume 150 grams of protien. Do not however skip meals and substitute with the protien drinks, the are designed to add to daily intake not to substitute them. As for the weights to put on bulk, start of with 3 sets of 8 reps exercises using heavy weights. Increase this every week until you are doing 3 sets of 15. If you have put on sufficient bulk and if you wish to now tone the muscle, do 4 sets of 15 reps with lighter weights and increase this every week until you have done 4 sets of 20 reps. Try and not over-do the cardio work when you are going through the bulking stage, any excess fat can be burned off during the toning stage, but remember to consume the protien, even on non-training days. With this plan you will see changes and very quickly. A) peanut butter is great, boiled chicken fruits, veggies, eggs with out the yolk, and the list goes on and on

Q) I'm 15 and am interested in body building. I weight lift 5 days out of the week and am on creatine, NO EXPLODE prior of workouts, and drink muscle milk after workouts. Am I too young to start taking testosterone?? I have heard it can really mess up your body if taken at a young age..what are the side effects??

A) dont take testosterone supplements wut you're doing is good but you also dont need the creatine. no explode should be good enough and creatine makes u look bloated and sucks up alot of your body's water. and you want to hold off high impact lifts till after you're done growing such as squats, bench, lunges with heavy weights. lifting heavy weights too early can shift growth plates closed and the extra tension in your muscles keeps bones from growing as long. taking testosterone is esentially taking steroids and youll look bloated, and cause your body to increase estrogen production. when you stop using, the estrogen levels will still be up there and youll exhibit more feminine characteristics.

A) No body building is not considered an Olympic event as it does not have official Olympic recognition. Nor has body building ever been part of the Olympics. A) first, think about what u want to make bigger and toner. if u want a toner body with good sized muscles, mix in running and cardio with your lifting. if you just want to get huge, do almost every single lift u can find and drink protien shakes after u work out. search the net for some workout plans or go to your nearest health club and talk to the trainer. they will make you a workout plan perfect for u.

Q) i know legs is very important to body building and it helps grow the upper muscles as well. If I did not want to lift heavy anymore on my legs(Just do less weight and more reps) and just slim my quads down and buttocks, will this still help grow my upper as much than lifting heavy on the legs?????

A) you can lower your weight and do less reps. don't do anymore than 15-20 reps per set though. this will still increase muscle mass for a short while before your body adapts and will then be more for 'toning'. it may not work as well for your upper chest compared to more weight, but you will still gain.

Body Building??

Q) I'm 14 I've decided to take up body building but i don't want to go to a gym at the moment I'm doing 50 press ups and 50 sit ups and then a 1 mile run all this twice a day is this right.

A) Bodybuilding is simply putting on muscle. Your press ups and situps will not put on muscles (at least not as much to be considered bodybuilding). It will make you more "toned". Running will just give you a less body fat percentage. While running is good (not against it), it's not a body builder priority (at least not most of the time). Running actually impedes muscle growth to a point. So your particular regime at the moment will only make you more "toned" and yes healthier. Go for it. But if your considering bodybuilding (building muscle) you will need to enter a gym (heavy weights), eat more (protein, protein, protein) and run ALOT less (unless your going through a "cutting cycle"). A) LoL. Don't start the roids yet! Supplements are very good indeed but only once you have hit a plauteu. You are in luck though, if you are new to lifting this is the easiest time to gain muscle and size quick. I suggest a good workout routine, a better than average meal plan, and a goal. 90% if getting "huge" is your diet. You want to be eating alot but you want to be eating quality foods. Workout Routine: 3x10 is usually a good beginner program. 3 Sets of 10 Repititions 1st Day: Chest/Triceps 2nd Day: Back/Bicepts 3rd Day: Legs/Shoulders 4th Day: Off, Rest 5th Day: Repeat Abs Everyother Day. Usually do about 3 to 4 excercises per muscle group. Limit your cardio. (Running, Swimming) to only a couple days a week. In order to get big you will need to gain some weight, which can later be easily removed. Here are some great sites to help you out with workout info, routines, and forums to ask further questions. Good luck. MOST IMPORTANT THING: Stay with it. Consistancy is what will get you big, not supplements. (they help a little!)

A) First of all, what kind of a dog are you talking about? Some breeds are more muscular then others. The right dog with the right genetics and the right food and exercise will develop more muscle. I feed my dogs Canidae and also exercise them by swimming and weight pulling in the form of a tire or me on skates and the dog pulling me or me on a bicycle and the dog pulling me. I also give them something called K9 Rx. It is a high protein, multi vitamin and mineral supplement that works wonders for any dog I have put on it.
