Birthday party activity Questions and AnswersWhat are the type of things to plan for activities for 10 year old birthday party?Q) What do they like these days?
Do they dance... or do they still want to play games?
Party will be held at cumunity centre with a garden...So what out-doors activity can we organise?
A) if its a mixed group of boys and girls five a side footballs good girls can play and may beat the boys . Rounders is really good adults can get involved to. Music is a must every one loves to dance , try getting some music that has a dance to it most kids know all the steps. karaoke really good. bit of food . depending on how long party is and weather good 40Min's outside 40Min's inside and before you know it they will all be going home leaving you to clean up.My sons first Birthday Party?Q) What would be recommended for my son's first birthday party? he really likes playing with the wii, computer, watching tv, and activity wise, he enjoys banging on things running around, etc. what would you reccomend I get for him on this special event?
A) First thing I'd say is get something age appropriate. It's no good getting the latest playstation game for instance as he won't be able to use it. The Early Learning Centre is great for toys for stimulating development and if he particularly likes banging things there's plenty of different stuff in the ELC. My nephew loved to take the lid off things at that age and put them back on. Sounds strange I know but I got him buckets of bricks and other toys and he had a wail of a time.
The staff at the Early Learning Centres are excellent in pointing you in the right direction. Tell them what he likes doing and I'm sure they'll point you to the right shelf. As for parties not sure. The phone book would give you children's party entertainers so you might find something there.
Hope he has a lovely day.Where can i go for an interesting 23rd birthday party experience in London?Q) i don't want just music, booze and party hats. i want something different, fun, an activity (followed by music and drink). not bowling or Quasar but more like a big padded fun zone for adults or something fun like that.
A) I don't live in London so i can't really help you out but when i first read your question i thought of the Millennium Dome if that what they call it do they not have any adult recreational facilities there? It sounds fun what you want to do, all failing you could always borrow someones little one for a couple of hours and take him/her to a soft play centre drop the little one off back at home and then go out for a serious celebration with your pals. Whatever you choose to do Happy Birthday and i hope you have a really nice time XBirthday party 5 year old girl?Q) I am thinking of buying some unfinished wood boxes (various shapes ie heart) for girls to paint and decorate with gems etc. for my daughter's party. I thought it would be a nice keepsake.Do you think this would go down well - is this the sort of craft activity this age group would like. My daughter would but can't speak for other kids????
A) I have a 5yr old boy and even he would think this is fun.
Good idea, mom! What can I do to make husbands surprise 30th birthday party fun?!?Q) I'm having a surprise party for my husbands 30th in 2 weeks. Got about 20-odd people coming, most similar age, mainly his old uni-mates who are now professional types, plus a few neighbours, work mates, other friends and the in-laws. They're all a really good laugh after a few drinks.
I'm sorted with the food, drinks etc, but just not exactly sure what we will all do all night! Obviously music, but doubt we'll be dancing due to lack of space. Thought about a bouncy castle, but worried that the weather will be poor, so scrapped any outdoor ideas for now. My husband wouldn't be particularly keen on fancy dress or themes, and a very mixed crowd so nothing naked either!
Just looking for ideas for things to keep us all amused for a few hours. All ideas of activities or tips, stories atc about similar parties most gratefully received!
Budget for entertainment fairly tight as food, drink etc will cost a few ton, but willing to spend a bit if it is a great idea!
A) OK! OK! try this: First, put plastic sheeting on the floor of the living (read on and you'll see why). Secondly, go to local pond, lake etc and catch some ducks. Next, buy copious amounts of bread. On the night, put the ducks on the plastic sheet (stops them pooing on your carpet), have everyone stand in a circle around the ducks and throw bread. this may sound stupid but I guarantee no one will ever forget the 'DUCK' party.
If this doesn't work try some simple team-building games; just type team building into 'Google'. They're simple to do and a good laugh.

I am holding my son's 3rd birthday party in the park in 10 days time. There is a great play area where we will start off and of course we will have a picnic, but does anybody have any other outdoors activity ideas!? I might do a simple scavenger hunt - what else can you think of. Not taking any music with us, so not pass the parcel or musical bumps...
A) It depends on your budget.
For larger budgets, you can rent an inflatable slide or two or you can hire a clown, a juggler or a person skilled in making balloon animals.
For smaller budgets, GO to a crafts store and buy some inexpensive age-suitable crafts. Face painting is generally a hit at these parties, too.
Good luck!birthday party activities?Q) i am having 10 friends over and i would like some ideas for activities at my party. it's a 15th birthday for all guys. There is 40% chance of rain so the activities may be inside. So far i've planned guitar hero, ddr, football, mario kart, basketball.
A) How about a Guitar Hero tournament? You could make up a bracket just like they do for the NCAA tournament and for a grand prize, purchase a Guitar Hero Guitar Kit or T-Shirt.
Happy Birthday!Any suggestions for birthday party activities?Q) I'm having a birthday party for my 13 year old daughter. We were going to have food and a movie but we thought it would be better if the girls had some activities to do together to bond better (these are fairly new friendships for my daughter). We are looking for outdoor activities if it is nice (we have a volleyball set for that) and indoor games if it isn't nice out. I was thinking Uno but with a twist. Each girl should come up with a new silly rule to use throughout the game. Any other ideas besides doing each other's hair and nails (I think of those as sleepover activities)?
I'd love to hear from girls or parents of girls in this age group...
I must add (in reference to the first two answers). We are in Massachusetts and it is October. And I don't fool with Ouiji boards.
Annie B - the nails and hair was my daughter's idea (maybe she's lame).
Mia - Happy Birthday. My daughter's is tomorrow.
A) Uno attack is always fun! Badminton & like you said volleyball are great outdoors games..
Keeps some dvd's around for at night maybe some that were just released "hot" movies.. so if they deside they want to watch them they can..
ALWAYS keep chips, cookies, popcorn, soda around too..
Keep in mind they are 13 year old girls.. they are going to get caught up in talking about boys, school and all sorts of things.. they will find some stuff to do on their own..I'm throwing a suprise birthday party for my friend and need activity ideas.?Q) I'm having a suprise birthday party for my firend. She is turning 17 and I need activity ideas. There are going to be 5 of us at the party (if everyone can come). There should be 2 boys 3 girls, including the birthday girl. She has asthma and it is getting extemely close to the time of year when we start getting snow, so we can't do anything outside or that has so much activity that she has an asthma attack. Anything you could suggest would be helpful, thanks
A) pin the tail on Hillary ... or ... pin the devil horns on Hillary.Birthday Party?Q) Do you think face painting with safe paints is a good activity for a two year old birthday party???
A) well as long as an adult is doing the face painting and not the kids and as long as its not to close to the eyes , but mke sure u have parents permission because some kids may be alergic to some of the things in the paint , . one thing that the kids can do is fingr painting , just have parents bring kids in old clothes or do like i do i save the t shirts that my older kids have out grown and i use those as aprons or what evr when the kids are doing activities that may ruin there clothes there long enough to cover all there clothes and are cheap becaue there free
